VISA INFORMATION FOR LIBYA  

A full 10 year passport is required and must be valid for at least six months from your proposed date of departure from Libya. You will not be allowed into Libya if there is evidence in your passport of a visit to Israel or the Occupied Territories including exit stamps from the Jordanian and Egyptian borders with Israel. Please ensure that you have at least two clean pages in your passport.  

A visa invitation from Arkno Tours is required in order to apply for the visa. For most nationalities, the visa is now available on arrival arranged by Arkno Tours. Please ask us for details.

Tourist visas are not currently being issued to Swiss citizens. Visa regulations are constantly changing. Please ask for latest details.

IMPORTANT: On Sunday, November 11, 2007 the Libyan Government reinstated the requirement that passports must contain an Arabic translation of the holder's details.
